Announcement of commitment to 100% renewable ground transportation
WHAT: In the presence of the Hōkūleʻa, following her worldwide mission to Mālama Honua, leaders from the four counties of Hawaiʻi will unite to proclaim their commitment towards a 100% renewable ground transportation future.
WHEN: Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
WHERE: Pōkaʻī Bay Beach Park, 960 Bayview Street, Waiʻanae. Beach attire is acceptable.
WHO: Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell, Kauaʻi Mayor Bernard Carvalho, Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa, Hawaiʻi County Managing Director Wil Okabe, Honolulu City Council Chair Ron Menor, Honolulu City Councilmembers Ikaika Anderson and Joey Manahan, Master Navigator Nainoa Thompson, and students from Kamaile Academy.
