During CCSR's resilience perceptions assessment phase, nearly 300 Maunalua Bay residents provided nearly 900 factors assessing O'ahu's resilience. During and since this past April's floods we've learned more about these shocks and stresses, as well as, community strengths and areas to improve upon. At this presentation, our Coastal and Water Program Manger, Matthew Gonser, will introduce CCSR and its charter mandate; introduce the process of approaching resilience through assessing and addressing shocks and stresses; and discuss lessons from the April 2018 rain event and flooding.
