The purpose of this meeting is for participants to:
review the updated progress on the Oahu Multi-Hazard Pre-Disaster Mitigation Plan since November 2018, and
work in small groups to give input on how the City can reduce the risks from natural hazards. We are looking for your input in the following topic areas:
Hurricanes, Flooding and Tsunami
Adapting and Defending of Infrastructure against Climate Change
Improving Land Use Policies, Regulations and Building Codes
Incentives for residential hazard mitigation and hazard resilience information
Resilience of Essential Services and Facilities – power, communications, water, supply of goods, transportation and ports, and health care
